Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of siteOS, accessible at https://siteos.dev and https://app.siteos.dev (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

siteOS is a multi-tenant monitoring tool that crawls websites you own, detects broken links and other issues, computes a Health Score, and imports performance data from Google Search Console for properties you connect.

2. Account & Acceptable Use

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for the activity that happens under your account. You may only use siteOS to monitor websites you own or are explicitly authorised to crawl. You agree not to use the Service to attack, overload, or scrape third-party sites without consent, or to violate any law.

3. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose). You can cancel at any time from the customer portal in your dashboard; the Service continues until the end of the current billing period and is not renewed.

Refund window. You may request a full refund within 7 days of your first paid subscription by emailing vincent.ventalon.pro@gmail.com. Renewals after the first period are not refundable, but you can cancel at any time.

Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice by email.

4. Your Data & Google Search Console

You retain ownership of any data you import into siteOS, including the websites you monitor and the metrics imported from Google Search Console. You grant us a limited licence to process that data only as needed to operate the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Use of data obtained through the Google Search Console API is also subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Crawler Conduct

Our crawler identifies itself with the siteOS-Crawler user agent and respects robots.txt. You confirm that you have the right to authorise crawls of every property you add to siteOS.

6. Service Availability & Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that crawls will find every issue, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that data imported from third parties (such as Google Search Console) will be accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss, lost revenue, or business interruption arising from your use of the Service.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the crawler, or fail to pay. On termination, project data is removed within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it (e.g., billing records).

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.

9. Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
